Adventures in Rollerblading

Tonite I had to skate home from work. It's about 3 miles door-to-door. It isn't really that big of a deal... until you factor in the the suburban madness of the sidewalks combined with crazy old people driving huge automobiles, recklessly. So as I made my way home, I was dodging crazy drunks on the sidewalk who wouldn't share a little concrete with me, holes in rusty sidewalk covers, under construction areas that were nothing but sand, crazy rednecks in large trucks yelling stuff at me, more drunks in bars yelling stuff, and the occasional car that almost hits me (old people were driving said cars). It reminded me of some old school nintendo paperboy action. It was kind of fun/totally crazy. But my job makes it all worth wile (no, no it doesn't). I made $23 dollars in tips today.
